Themed exhibitions

The art museum once or twice a year hosts themed exhibitions focusing on indvidual artists, periods or groups of artists.

Funen art museum is a relatively old museum, which through the years has accumulated a large collection of paintings, installations, drawings, graphics and much more. There is not enough room to show the collection in its entirety and therefore it is necessary to create a certain flux in the exhibitions so that people can an insight into the vastness and character of the collection.

A lot of these themed exhibitions will be accompanied by tours, texts on the artists and artworks, concerts and other activities.
